The saddest think I have ever thunk

So I was thinking, as I usually do, about how cool it would be to get a replacement body that was actually a robut and never had allergies. Or, how about that notion of uploading your consciousness to one of the inter-nets, or something like that. Anyway, I was thinking about all that, and then I realized that if that sort of thing ever came to pass, it would probably be supported by (read: STUFFED FULL OF) advertising. At least now, you can mostly (…mostly) escape the daily barrage of advertising by closing your eyes, plugging up your ears, running AdBlock, not owning a tv, not listening to the radio, not reading magazines or newspapers, showing up late to movies, and/or living in a cave in the wilderness, but if they were pumped right into your Mind, well, that would suck. Hard. Hardest.

Let's ruin something with advertising

And then I thought, we are probably already in the Matrix, and IT is supported by ads (and not our human battery juice). I mean, have you ever noticed how much advertising there is lately? Or the fact that one of the most popular TV shows is about… an ad agency? And I do sometimes have dreams about Name Brand Products™.
