One does not simply walk into the South Quad!»
Here’s that new bell tower they stuck on the U of I South Quad, along with some other crap that was nearby.
And here‘s a pic from last year that I wish I had taken.
If you wish to make a blog from scratch, you must first invent the universe.

Assorted pics taken with the new camera.
So I was astral projecting playing around with satellite views of CU and pretending to hover over my little town below, when I remembered this pic I took a couple years ago:
Luckily for any alien business investors, you can’t see the boarded up windows from space, amirite?
They can see the donuts, though!
NOTE, FROM THE FUTURE: Well, damn. Google updated their satellite views of our fair town, and thus: no more donuts and no more point to this post. Thanks a lot, data overlords.
This is for my pal Bill (who doesn’t even read this mess):
He played a concert in the brand new library’s brand new cafe area, as part of the grand opening celebrations. I took pictures of this, for his and the library’s benefit. At the time he joked that it would be funny to take a pic of the big LIBRARY sign on the corner, and photoshoop it to be spelled wrong, and see if the staff would be alarmed. I am too lazy for that level of shooping, so I did a joiner, since those are easier to eff with. (And even that took me five months to do!)
