Not pictured: The actual bands themselves (who were awesome and loud and awesomely loud), because I don’t like bringing my SLR to major/crowded shows (I also prefer to, you know, just remember those).

Also not pictured: The most delicious burrito I ever ate in my entire life. You can believe me now, for I have had many burritos in many cities.

Should have been pictured: This would have been the perfect chance to bring Travel Bot along, but I plum forgot. He lives in my camera bag. You know, the bag for the camera I don’t bring to major shows?

Oh, and my other lens decided to start throwing errors at me again, after months of good behavior. I don’t think I could have been any gentler to the thing either. I didn’t even take it outside! I still have a little over five years of warranty, but I’m going to be pissed if I have to keep sending it back.

It lives!

According to the repair report, the aperture assembly needed adjustment or replacement. They also threw in some general checking and adjusting. Thank you so much, six year warranty. My babby was out of my hands for just over two weeks, which—considering that most of that was shipping back and forth, A-AND it was over Thanksgiving—is a pretty quick turnaround.
