Wang-bot

One day a friend sent me a link to an (finished) ebay auction curiously titled “Japan Penis Missile Rocket Cannon Robot Figure Model”. I thought this was an obscure vintage kit with unintentional lol factor, but it was actually released as a supplement to the July 2002 edition of Japanese magazine, Net Runner. It was a spoof of the Xianxingzhe/Senkousha (China’s first humanoid robot, made in 2000).

Eventually I saw another one on the ebay, so I grabbed it, but quick!

The story so far: He was supposed to be man’s best friend, but something went wrong…

OK so I sort of ran out of steam, and never resumed the, uhh, “story”, but I still have high hopes that one day this will change…

AND THEN IN THE SUMMER OF 2011 HE TRICKED EVERYONE INTO CLIMBING INTO A BOX DESTINED FOR THE MOTHER OF ALL YARD SALES AND THUS HAD NO MORE ENEMIES, THE END
